Dr. Lea Kendrick is a DHA-licensed Clinical Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with 20 years of experience across the UK, Singapore, and the UAE. She has worked in both NHS and private settings and specialises in obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, trauma, and women’s mental health.
Dr. Kendrick has extensive experience treating mild to severe and treatment-resistant OCD, as well as related conditions such as body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), hoarding disorder, trichotillomania, and excoriation (skin-picking). She also supports individuals with anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, health anxiety, phobias, generalised anxiety disorder, and panic disorder, and has significant expertise in PTSD and trauma.
Her therapeutic approach is evidence-based and aligned with NICE guidelines. She primarily works using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), delivered in a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgemental manner. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she integrates when appropriate, particularly for trauma-focused work.
Dr. Kendrick has a strong interest in women’s mental health, supporting women during the perinatal period and through life transitions such as perimenopause and menopause.
